Heartwood Fence Orlando is locally owned and operated by two longtime Orlando residents, Darrell Carpenter and Bo Butler. Together, they bring deep knowledge of construction, business leadership, and customer service to every job.
Darrell Carpenter
Born and raised in Orlando, Darrell graduated with a building construction degree from the University of Florida after playing four years of football there. His path into business started early - in 2009, he founded Rugby Commercial Cleaning, which grew into B&T Building Services under his leadership over 13 years before he sold it in 2022.
That foundation in building and operations carries directly into how Darrell runs Heartwood Fence Orlando. He understands job site management, client communication, and what it takes to deliver a quality product on schedule. In 2023, he co-founded Panther Pest Control in Winter Park, adding another locally-rooted business to his track record.
Darrell lives in Winter Park with his wife Meredith and their four children. He's not just operating a fence company in Orlando - he's a homeowner here, a neighbor, and someone with a personal stake in the community his customers live in.
Bo Butler
Also born and raised in Orlando, Bo graduated from the University of Florida with a building construction degree and spent his career in commercial construction before making the move to entrepreneurship. That background gives him a deep understanding of what proper installation looks like at a professional level - the kind of knowledge that separates contractors who cut corners from ones who don't.
